Whether or not you have ever consigned before you will quickly discover what a fun and clever way it is to make money, save money and recycle all at the same time!
Here’s how it works:
Just let us sell all those clothes and accessories in your closet that you no longer need or wear. Give someone else a chance to enjoy them. We take all sorts of women’s and men’s clothing and jackets, including all types of accessories belts, scarves, hats, purses, gloves, shoes and jewelry. When an item is sold the proceeds are split 50-50 between the consignor and the shop.
We will accept 20 items MAXIMUM per visit.
All items must be in ‘ready to sell’ condition:
- freshly laundered with no stains, tears, missing buttons or broken zippers
- pressed and on hangers
- good condition and in season
- good quality and currently in style
We see consignors on a ‘drop in–first come first serve’ basis on:
*Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 11:00 until 4:00*
We DO NOT take consignors on Tuesdays and Thursdays
The consigned price of all items will be determined by our staff at the time of consignment. When items are sold, 50% of the proceeds will be credited to the consignors account. This credit can either be used as in store credit or checks can be picked up after the 5th of each month, if the amount is at least $10.00. Any lesser amount will accrue to the next month.
We will keep merchandise on the floor for 90 days. At the end of this period, any unsold items will be disposed of at Mandelin’s discretion. Or, items are available for pick up by the consignor at any time on or before the 90 days.
In addition, Mandelins’s may hold normal periodic sales of out-of-season and clearance merchandise. All merchandise in stock is subject to these sales.
Our hours of operation are Monday through Saturday 10:00-7:00. . We will be closed on Sundays.
